A smart and beautifully designed antique William IV leather top writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-1840 period.
It is of extremely fine quality, the rectangular top stands on a beautifully curved and stretchered X frame base with scrolled feet. The inset leather top is hand coloured with tooled edges. This is finished identically on both sides, so can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
