The chest has been professionaly refinished in a black satin lacquer. Underneath is a fully solid mahogany base, that really shows well on the insides of the drawers. The asian oriental stying covers the piece with the curved edges on the top, flowing wood carvings, and ornate hardware. The original brass hardware pops through the black finish with very detailed door hinges, and a large center handle backing. The top half of the chest has 4 inner drawers, with the top 2 having inner dividers. The bottom half has 2 drawers that are deep for plenty of storage space. Ready to move into your home and be dsiplayed as is!
