Item Details
Expertly carved is this young girl in her bonnet carrying a basket. It is made of alabaster, from Italy. Signed G (Galileo) Pochini. Galileo was a well know and admired sculptor from this period.

I have priced this figurine according to her condition, quality of the piece and overall
desirability.

Condition Notes
Showing expected age and patina. some dark spots in the alabaster and an overall misting of
ocher on the edges. There are a few tiny light lines working through the marble, very slight.
The girls little finger has had a repair. See photos for details. This is a solid good piece. It is fairly heavy. See less
