Fabulous Knife Set from Maxam
Measures 14" carving knife with 9" blade and 13" carving knife with 8" blade
Precision hollow ground fine stainless steel
The following specifications are taken directly from the insert card which is inside the box:
"All MAXAM is Manufactured under strict U.S. specifications. Each surgical steel blade is made from solid A.I.S.I. 420stainless, hollow ground and fully tempered at 1900 degrees. Three rivets permanently lock blades to handles. Each carved handle is made from many layers of selected wood. The handles are impregnated with a special resin, heated to 280 degrees and then sealed under 120,000 lbs. of pressure per square foot for 45 minutes. The result is a truly dishwasher safe handle."
The pieces in this set show little to no signs of having been used.
