Fine Antique Satsuma Moriage Style Double handles Japanese Sumo warrior Scene. Magnificent quality workmanship and beautiful fine details in the gold gilt and raised detailed design and facial features. The back has a beautiful flower scene. Mounted on a doubled tiered brass base. No marking found but did not take it off the base. So unsure of date or place of origin. Appears to have been rewired. Will need a new lamp shade because this one has torn fabric on the inner layer h:35" with finial, 27.5 without finial, 23" to top of porcelain, w: 9.5", base 10.5".
