This leather container was made and used to make and store "saki" by Nomadic hearders who ranged the grasslands of Mongolia...it is 19 inches high x 15 inches x 10 inches....
There are small wood "handles" worked into the leather on each side (last pic)...
It is well traveled and well used....
It was brought to the US sometime in the 90's by a friend of mine who lived, worked, traveled, and collected throughout Asia for many years...
