This paint was featured in an Exhibition of Botanical Illustrations presented at Gray Gallery, Quincy University in 2020. Flowing, modern, and vibrant, this framed work measures 19.625 inches wide and 25.625 inches tall. The depth of the silver and black frame is 1 inch.. The painting was created in acrylic paint . The painting is signed on the lower right. The label from Quincy University is on the back of the frame.
The frame is wood and the glazing is acrylic.

Marina Movshina is an American artist known for landscape painting, and for her illustrations of children’s books, as well as her botanicals. Her paintings have been selected for the exhibition of distinguished alumni at Carnegie-Mellon’s Centennial Celebration of its College of Fine Art, the Logan Center at the University of Chicago and the Harlin Museum in West Plains, MO. An elected artist member of the American Artists’ Professional League, New York, NY, she is admired for her skill as a painter and draftsman in the handling of space, depiction of light, and expert use of color. She received a B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University and studied at the Art Students’ League, New York, NY, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Marina lives in St. Louis, MO.
