Stunning large antique insulated water pitcher by Meriden Britannia Company, dated 1868.
This Victorian-era carafe is silver-plated and marked 'Quadruple Plate,' with a white ceramic enamel interior for insulation. The body features ornate raised floral motifs, including roses and leaves, showcasing Meriden’s craftsmanship during the late 19th century.
The pitcher is quite substantial, measuring over 12" tall and approximately 10 3/4" wide from handle to spout. It weighs nearly 6 lbs, reflecting its high-quality construction and design.
