My parents purchased this Vintage 1930's 9" Golden Color Mohair Jointed Teddy Bear Toy Excelsior Wood Wool Stuffed Animal in England.
He is just 9" tall and is jointed so you can pose him. His small size makes him unusual.
His head is fixed and does not swivel. He has amber glass eyes with black pupils.
His mohair fur is golden in color. His paws are made of linen. His nose and mouth are stitched with brown thread.
He is stuffed with excelsior, also called wood wool. This dates him to being made before WWII.
This little guy has such a cute and focused expression.
He is in very good condition but shows some wear due to his age.
He will be well wrapped and sent with tracking from a smoke-free home. Please see my other teddy bears from my mom's collection - I'm happy to combine shipping.
