This original Antique Portuguese Rocaille Geometric Forms Tile was made in Portugal in the period (1706–1750).
Item Details & Specifics:
The late 17th century and the early 18th century was considered to be the 'Golden Age of the Tile’, the so-called Cycle of the Masters. Mass production was started not just because of a greater internal demand, but also because of very large orders from Brazil. Large one-off orders were replaced by the less expensive use of repetitive tile patterns. Churches, monasteries, palaces and even houses were covered inside and outside with tiles, many with exuberant Baroque elements.

Item condition: Some chips and flaws. Two hairline cracks on the glaze. Age weathered surfaces. Condition is appropriate for age and use. See photos for complete assessment.

At this time, all purchases will be shipped from Lisbon, Portugal (EU). For now, all shipments to the United States will be sent via an International Standard Shipping Service. The company responsible for the shipping will be CTT, the National Portuguese shipping company. CTT has an agreement with the United States Postal Service (USPS), so the handling/delivery of packages will be made by the USPS, and packages can be tracked using their website. On average, shipping to the US takes between 8-12 days.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

- Chairish Freight Delivery
