It is original … Read more Here is an extremely rare large redwood lace burl coffee table with a natural root base . It is original finished in satin conversion varnish . Professionally well made in the 1970’s in good condition with some normal wear on the top. A burl is a growth on a tree formed from unsprouted bud tissue. The burl forms large, knobby looking growths on the base and trunk of the tree. Stress caused by injury, fungus, virus, or insects creates intense grain patterns. It is came from an old million dollars house in Cape Cod Massachusetts. Measurement: 75” L x 31”W x 16 1/2” H. See less
