Designed in the 1970s, the brass and stainless steel floor lamps by Cedric Hartman are an enduring design classic. The modernist lamps feature triangular brass shades attached to two parallel stainless steel stems that offer adjustable height for focused task lighting. The stainless steel pole terminates into a heavy brass t-base. The poles are fastened with brass detailing that allows you to adjust the height. Discreet legs allow the lamps to “hover” just above the floor, exaggerating the counterweighted arc of the central support. The lamps have a brass dimmer switch on the underside of the shade. Bottom of the bases are engraved with designer signature and serial number.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition; brass has developed a natural patina and has not been polished in accordance with the wishes of the designer. Minimal cosmetic wear, appropriate to age and use.
