  • "Barbara W.: I'm so sorry you're disappointed. It was from an estate sale of a very old home in Texas. All of their pieces were well preserved. Something like back supports being replaced doesn't surprise me, but I've been around many vintage signs that were so well kept they looked new. It depends on how they were stored and how well they were made originally."

  • "I received the sign in good condition. It was well packaged but I wanted to let you know that even though you were great, I am disappointed in the sign. It is definitely not a vintage sign. It is painted on weathered old wood, but the paint is new and the back supports are put on with new staples and modern screws. The cuts for the letters are sharp and show no sign of wear or weathering that would be on a vintage piece. I'm curious where you found it. Just thought you should know."

  • "Barbara W.: Thanks Barbara! That will go out first thing Monday."

  • "Thank you so much. I submitted my offer online to Chairish . I decided to go ahead and have you send it to save time. Looking forward to receiving it."

  • "Barbara W.: I would accept $209, yes. Shipping is entirely up to you, I'm confident shipping it if you are short on time and don't want to drive out, or I can happily meet you somewhere in the Denton square."

  • "Good morning. Thanks for the quick response. Would you consider an offer of $209 for the piece. I am in Fort Worth and could run to Denton to pick it up to avoid the shipping hassle or if shipping is easier for you, that would be fine too. Thanks!"

  • "Barbara W.: Hi Barbara, I see no signs of repainting on this piece. The paint is flush with the wood, no thickness or cracking and is consistent in its aging. This is a found piece, but I am confident it is all original."

  • "Can you tell if the painting is original or has been repainted? Thanks."
