This is an original oil painting by me, L Haas, painted on a 12 x 9 unframed linen panel and signed. I painted this after a moment in the Nevada desert when clouds seemed to drift low and slow across a wide sky, casting soft shadows and subtle color shifts over land. Instead of striving for exact detail, I let the movement of air and light guide how the brushwork and color unfolded.
