A lid with the box attached to the underplate. Original use was meant as a sardine box but could also be used as a butter dish, soap box, jewelry box, trinket box, etc. Handpainted colors of blue, green, orange, tan & yellow on off-white. Signed on bottom of underplate, H. Quimper, Henriot Quimper France. Underplate has antique staple repair, often collected on it's own. See less
