Late Mid-Century Texas landscape. This piece captures what Texas is known for! The state flower of Texas is the bluebonnet, and this painting is fantastic. It features gorgeous tones set against a big blue sky. The artwork is highly textured with an impasto technique that adds depth.
The painting is beautifully framed in gold and is signed by the artist, Ruth Barker, from 1971. While it could probably use a good cleaning, the colors remain lovely.
