Henri Matisse ( 1869 - 1954 ) The French born artist is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. The Modernist lithograph print was printed in 1973 in Japan. It features an artwork image originally created by Matisse in 1953 titled " The Snail L'escargot ".
