With its luminous warm hues and beguiling beauty, this hand-knotted wool antique Oushak rug is immersed in Anatolian history. The abrashed beige field features four stacked lozenges decorated with eight-point stars, stylized florals, and Anatolian motifs. A variety of frenzied stylized florals grace each corner spandrel. It is enclosed with a repeating botanical border flanked with an inner running water guard band and an outer acanthus scroll guard band. Rendered in variegated shades of beige, red, gold, robin's egg blue, light pink, tan, sky blue, light gray, and mustard with other accent colors. Desirable Age Wear. Abrash. Hand knotted wool.
