This wonderful faceted stoneware teapot with an oatmeal-colored glaze is made with Warren’s custom blend of clay. It has a traditional Japanese-style cane handle. Warren MacKenzie is one of America’s most highly respected potters. His work is collected by museums and collectors around the world. This piece has was bought in 2005 at his studio in Stillwater MN. It has no artist mark as Warren went through a period where he stopped marking his work. However, it does have his signature thumbprint patterned bottom produced by the wire he used to cut the pot from the wheel.
