Lamps have cobalt blue bodies and each side is illustrated with a unique hand-painted floral cartouche. Each lamp has gilded and scrolled handles.
Each lamp is topped with sturdy but intricately carved brass and two chain-controlled light bulb sockets. The brass has not recently been polished.
The lamps stand on metal ball feet which extend from the bottoms of the lamps. The bottom of one lamp appears to have a small bit of visible glue or adhesive discoloration where the metal was attached to the porcelain.
The lamps are both wired ad operational but have old plugs. There is some pitting on the lamp "pipes" and some wear on the finials.
The lamps were a beautiful addition to our grandparent's home and the colors are very modern and bright despite their age.
