Created using the ancient medium of encaustic painting (molten beeswax and damar resin), the piece features a rich, luminous depth that only natural wax can provide.
Embedded within the layers of translucent wax is a hand-curated antique collage, featuring 1908 Harper’s Bazaar ephemera. The encaustic process naturally preserves these historical elements, creating a "window through time" that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Medium: Professional-grade encaustic (beeswax) and pigment on antique ephemera.

Surface: Mounted on a 1.5” deep heavy-duty cradled wood panel.

Finish: The edges are finished black, making it ready to hang without a frame.
