This striking Federal-style wall mirror is a rare, oversized statement piece manufactured by the renowned Burwood Products Co. (Model #4585). Standing at an impressive 43 inches tall, this mirror is significantly larger than the common 22-inch versions, making it a perfect focal point for a grand entryway, library, or formal dining room.
The mirror features a masterfully detailed American Eagle crest, clutching an olive branch and arrows—classic symbols of the Federal period. The rectangular frame is flanked by elegant tapered spindles and finished with a traditional fan-shaped bottom pediment.
Crafted from Burwood’s signature high-density wood-composite resin, this piece offers the intricate look of hand-carved giltwood with the durability and manageable weight of mid-century materials. The gold finish is bright and uniform, providing a clean, "refreshed" look that fits perfectly into Grandmillennial or Traditionalist interior designs.
