He gained international recognition for his innovative stoneware with matte feldspar glazes and for his expressive animal sculptures in chamotte. Earlier in his career, he worked in Denmark at Bing & Grøndahl and co-founded Saxbo Keramik. He later served as Artistic Director at Strömbergshyttan Glassworks and worked extensively as a freelance designer. Nylund also created numerous public artworks and is widely represented in major museum collections in Sweden and internationally. This piece has an attribution mark,
