hr quimper signature signified when the factory first began producing faïence in 1891 and used the conjoined initials of the owner and his wife\."h" for henriot and "r" for riou. The mark hb was used until around 1922.

on the underside there are the three marks from where the plates were placed on tripods to be baked in the kiln.

do not wash in a dishwasher, modern detergents can damage the plate. Clean with a soft damp cloth.

there are some small signs of previous use especially around the rim. Look at all photos carefully.
