They are hand painted and have the frames on the back for hanging. Very typical Rouen style, perfect for a decorative plate wall or Welsh dresser.

Highly collectible pieces produced around the 1850s.

There are some signs of previous use, especially around the rim where the frame is attached. The surface has crazing from age.

DO NOT wash in a dishwasher, modern detergents can damage the plate. Clean with a soft damp cloth. This piece has an attribution mark,
