Pair of Art Deco ceramic wall sconces in a glossy green glaze with gold detailing. Each sconce features a geometric wall backplate with raised Art Deco motifs and a dramatic curved “wave” arm (almost resembling one arm of a fleur-de-lis) ending in a brass-toned bulb holder. Perfect for Art Deco or Hollywood Regency interiors as well as maximalist rooms. Architectural, glamorous and unique. Dating to circa 1930s France, though possibly from a later Art Deco revival period in the 1950s-1960s, these sconces represent the architectural glamour of the movement.
The sconces retain their original bayonet bulb (B22) fittings and have been updated with new wiring to the back for safe modern use. They are in full working order and ready for installation.
Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
