A rare Giraffe floor lamp designed by Uno and Östen Kristiansson for Luxus Vittsjö, Sweden, circa 1950s.
The lamp features a striking tripod base crafted from solid teak with exceptional grain and warm patina. The three gracefully angled legs converge at the stem, creating the distinctive silhouette that earned this design its "Giraffe" nickname among collectors. The white acrylic conical shade provides soft, diffused ambient lighting while maintaining the clean minimalist aesthetic characteristic of 1950s Nordic design.
The teak base is in very good vintage condition, showcasing the natural beauty and durability that define quality Scandinavian craftsmanship. Original Luxus Vittsjö manufacturer's label present. Please note the shade has a crack.
