we love its size and its very substantial presence. This very old table features mortise and tenon joinery with pegs.

the tabletop is remarkably thick, which is part of its charm.

it is composed of four planks, pegged to the base. The wood was carved from a single piece, resulting in irregularities that add to its authenticity.

the base is very imposing, with a stretcher; each piece is also beautifully carved from the wood.

there are some imperfections in the wood, small traces of pitting in places… but overall, it is sound and in good condition.

the patina is original.
