The natural pine highlights the wood grain, and the finger-jointed panels demonstrate van Apeldoorn’s skill and attention to detail.

Behind the doors is a compartment ( 76.5 cm wide, 36.5 cm high, 37 cm deep) , with removable shelf.

The design reflects mid-century functionalist ideas from both Dutch and Scandinavian traditions, similar to the work of Gerrit Rietveld, Ilmari Tapiovaara, and Cees Braakman.

Good condition: all solid with normal marks. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
