Set of six elegant dining room chairs in solid mahogany. Beautiful backrests with hand carved details. Round fluted front legs with brass shoes. This set consists of four side chairs and two armchairs.

These chairs shows a very high level of craftsmanship and quality. Made by Farre Møbelfabrik, also known as Jensen Farre, in Denmark in the 1970s. Farre Møbelfabrik was known as one of the finest manufacturers of classical furniture pieces. They employed only the best craftsmen and their apprentices often won medals at the apprentice tests. It was a very coveted workplace where every employ took great pride in their work. As a result Farre Møbelfabrik produced some of the finest pieces of furniture in Denmark through the 1900s. Especially their Hepplewhite Revival series become very popular from the 1950s and on.
These pieces were manufactured in the 1970s and the last photo is from an add from the same period.

Very good vintage condition with light patina consistent with age and use. Later re-upholstered. Some discoloration from glue along the ribbon. See less
