Satori Gregorakis (b. Long Island, N.Y., 1943-)
I am dedicated to the pursuit of beauty through the exploration and development of new ideas. My work is deeply influenced by the challenges of painting within the tradition of the old masters, shaped by my experience as an art restorer. At the heart of my process is the careful, deliberate preparation of the painting surface.
