Elegant pair of blue and white porcelain cachepots featuring bold cobalt floral decoration on a crisp white ground. The sculptural undulating rims give these classic chinoiserie forms a refined, tailored presence.
The saturated cobalt motif wraps beautifully around each piece, and the softly scalloped silhouette adds movement and architectural interest. Perfect styled as a pair on a console, flanking a mirror, or used as orchid planters.
Purchased in Italy.
Each is marked with a hand-painted “B” on the underside.
