Hand-drawn sketches of jazz dancers reduced to almost musical note bodies. All moving around the bowl with various drums, twists, and turns, angular knees and elbows flying. Beautifully conceived and drawn. The bowl is made of reconstituted soapstone and is drawn into by a stylus that engraves this stone. Each figure is a new drawing. The size is 8.25" in diameter and 1.75" deep.
The condition is very good.
