These are signed vintage lithographic prints from a series titled "Costumes Suisses" (Swiss Costumes) created by the Swiss graphic designer and artist Kurt Wirth (1917–1996).
Kurt Wirth was a prominent mid-century Swiss artist known for his travel posters and graphic design work.
These prints depict individuals in traditional Swiss folk costumes (Trachten) from various cantons.
The print on the left shows a woman in a costume typically associated with the Fribourg or Bern region.
The print on the right features a man in traditional attire, often identified with the Appenzell or Valais regions, characterized by the smoking pipe and ornate embroidery.
The series was originally produced around 1950–1952.
They are typically hand-colored lithographs or high-quality color prints issued as part of a portfolio of 11 plates.
