An exceptionally rare and refined Baccarat pompon stopper, created for an early 19th-century. Beautifully executed in the celebrated “Diamonds and Leaves” pattern.
This exquisite piece is adorned with sharply defined pointed diamond cuts and elegant leaf-like draperies, culminating in a charming flower-shaped finial cap, a signature detail of Baccarat’s most prestigious toilet crystal productions of the period.
Preserved in remarkable antique condition, the carafe displays only the most minimal traces of time, entirely consistent with an object approaching two centuries in age. Overall, it remains a superb collector’s example, radiating the brilliance and craftsmanship for which Baccarat is renowned.
