An exceptional early 19th-century crystal vase from St. Louis, France, model Sablée Rocaille, crafted in amber crystal produced at the Le Creusot factories. The vase showcases Neo-Classical design and the refined artistry of St. Louis in the 1840s.
This larger-than-usual example in rare amber is particularly striking compared to typical Sablée Rocaille pieces. It was also produced in transparent white, opal and black crystal, making this amber version uniquely eye-catching.
A small chip on the decorative border is present (not on the main body), barely noticeable, and the vase otherwise shines with full brilliance and finely detailed relief, presenting a true museum-quality impression.
