The entire design is a seamless blend of luxury, glamour, and exuberance that represented the Art Deco movement. Carl Arthur Percy was an outstanding Swedish artist and designer. He began his artistic education at the Artists' Union School in Stockholm and then continued his studies in Paris at the Académie Matisse alongside several other artists, including his friend Isaak Grünewald.

In 1923, he became the artistic director at Gefle Porslinsfabrik, where he created groundbreaking designs and tableware that spread on a large scale. His work became known for combining traditional and modern styles, and he himself became a groundbreaking designer in the porcelain and glass industry.

Arthur Percy was a significant designer of Swedish grace and Art Deco, and his artistic legacy lives on as an important part of Swedish design history. Percy's art is represented in many Swedish and foreign museums, including the National Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, the Prince Eugen Museum Waldemarsudde, the Gothenburg Museum of Art, and museums in Malmö, Norrköping, Lindköping, Västerås, Borås, Jönköping, Kalmar, Karlstad, Gävle, and Östersund, etc. Abroad, his works can be found at the Sévres Museum in Paris, the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Pau, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, and the Lubeck Museum in Germany, among others.
