The composition includes clusters of blue grapes and stylized orange blossoms, delicately arranged around the scalloped rim with small blue and green flourishes.

This type of decoration — combining simple rural motifs and a pale tin glaze — is typical of the La Rochelle faience workshops, active from the mid-18th century. The slightly greyish-white glaze, kiln firing marks, and irregular potting are characteristic of provincial production from western France during the Louis XV period.
