These elegant ceramic vases were made by the vesuve pottery in thulin, belgium. The black vases feature a beautiful drip glaze in light green and yellow, which runs down the sides. Each vase has two delicate handles. The thulin pottery was founded in 1887 and became the société anonyme des faïenceries de thulin in 1923. Its products were sold throughout belgium and paris before the company was dissolved in 1973. The numbers 1023 and 1026 are marked on the base (see photos). Both vases also have an inscription with a letter, probably from the maker. Dimensions: h 18 cm x w 9 cm x d 6 cm. Both vases are in excellent vintage condition.
