Freestanding magazine rack manufactured during the late 1950s to early 1960s in Central Europe, probably Germany or France.
The piece is constructed from a metal wire frame with perforated metal sheet panels featuring a regular circular pattern. It offers two angled storage compartments. The curved upper handle is fitted with a dark wooden grip. The splayed legs terminate in white plastic floor caps.
The metal has a brass coloured finish with visible patina. The construction is lightweight yet stable and reflects Mid-Century Modern design with Atomic design elements.
