Born during the golden age of bold Parisian interiors, this sculptural coffee table embodies the assertive architectural language of 1970s French design, a period when furniture blurred the lines between function and art.
Originating from a luxurious private apartment on Avenue Foch, one of Paris's most iconic and prestigious addresses, this piece carries a true cultural dimension.
Avenue Foch evokes spaciousness, the nobility of volumes, and a discreet elegance—the natural setting for collectors, diplomats, and lovers of refined architecture.
This table doesn't just decorate a space.
It structures it.
Architectural Presence
Its monolithic silhouette with organic lines is both powerful and fluid.
Made of thick molded resin, its generous structure is enhanced by a glossy ivory lacquer finish that captures the light and subtly reveals its curves.
Four large lateral openings visually lighten the mass while creating a sophisticated interplay of shadows and perspectives, a hallmark of late European modernism.
The original molded insert, perfectly integrated, houses a 1 cm thick round glass top, conceived from the outset as an integral part of the design.
Here we are faced with a deliberate sculptural minimalism.
