This compact Japanese drawer cabinet is a classic kodansu: a small tansu traditionally used to neatly organise personal belongings and everyday essentials.
Dimensions: height 27 cm, width 22 cm, depth 27.5 cm.
The piece features one shallow top drawer for smaller items and one notably deep drawer below. The understated, dark metal bail pulls give it a calm, timeless look.
Today it works beautifully as a small desk cabinet for pens, notebooks and stamps, as a bedside cabinet for cables and small essentials, or as a compact hallway organiser for keys, sunglasses and accessories.
