Reference: Catalogue Battisti n.46. Armando Buratti (Rome, 1924), is an italian artist and painter. His works are now part of private collections in Italy and abroad, and exposed for example in the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna and in the Musei Capitolini in Rome. This rare etching is dedicated to The Temple of Hercules Victor, a Roman temple in Piazza Bocca della Verità, in the area of the Forum Boarium close to the Tiber in Rome. It was wrongly believed to be dedicated to the divinity Vesta. The temple is the earliest surviving marble building in Rome. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
