The sofa retains its beautifully preserved 1960s floral upholstery, with thick, comfortable cushions and an original spring system in excellent working condition. A full-width, hinged storage compartment is integrated beneath the seat for bed linen or accessories. The solid mahogany base and legs provide stability and have been freshly oiled to enhance the natural depth of the wood. The frame is structurally perfect, the veneer is intact, and the piece shows an elegant, authentic vintage patina. A rare and decorative Central European Art Deco sofa with strong architectural presence, suitable for high-end interiors or collectors.
Under the seat cushions, the sofa features its original metal wire-frame storage compartment with a lift-up mechanism for bedding. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
