This beautiful set of three high quality ceramic bowl was created by the renown German ceramist Helma Klett (1908-1996) during the 1960s. Each of these fine handcrafted pieces has its own glaze and decor in warm hues of brick red, brown and beige.
Helma Klett founded her artistic pottery workshop in Fredelsloh, Northern Germany in 1940. She was trained by the renown ceramist Siegfried Graham in Römhild during the 1930s.
Helma Klett followed the principles of the Bauhaus as well as traditional craft design in her work and this duality makes it very interesting.
