The Tandem Sling Bench was designed in 1962 by Ray & Charles Eames for the first international airports and Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

The bench is extremely comfortable, durable, and convenient.

This version is upholstered in a fabric cover (likely by Kvadrat) in the rare color gray and features practical little tables on both sides.

This listing is for one bench, but three identical benches are available. The condition of the benches is comparable, but not identical.

CONDITION
Good and well-maintained vintage condition, with the usual—but not significant—signs of age and use on the chrome, wood, and fabric surfaces.

There are some isolated areas of roughness, flaking, or unevenness on the chrome surface.

The fabric surface was professionally cleaned some time ago after purchase and has been in storage ever since. Thanks to this professional cleaning, the cover is in very good condition, undamaged, and, most importantly, hygienically clean. However, there are still a few minor, deeply embedded marks on the cover, though they are barely visible…

All of these marks are usually only slightly noticeable upon close inspection and are not significant…
