Specializing in high-end plastic products, the Italian company Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli. In 1999, he joined forces with the renowned designer Philippe Starck to create the Ero/ S/, an iconic swivel chair.
Enveloping, shaped like a sliced egg, it features an ideal combination of transparent polycarbonate and pressure-molded aluminum.
The seat rests on a swivel base. The basket is tulip-shaped.
