Features an opalescent Art Glass incised with flowers and leaves and molded Glass hooks to the sides.
No Markings found.
In very good vintage condition, no signs of wear.
A Masterpiece of molded Art Glass by a famous French Glass Artist, a real collector's piece.

Pierre Gire (AKA Pierre D'Avesn) was born in 1901.
At 14 years old, he began working for Lalique.
In 1926, he left Lalique and created his own models - his pieces were made by Cristallerie de Saint-Rémy.
In 1930, Daum Freres asked him to take the artistic direction of their molded glass department in their glass-works in Croismare.
In 1937, he took over the management of Verlys.
From 1940, he worked on his own - his pieces were made by Cristallerie de Choisy-le-Roi (Sèvres).
