A vintage mid-century Danish Modern rosewood veneer credenza and detached hutch from Brouer Mobelfabrik, Denmark. This two piece set commands attention with its rich, book matched grain veneer and sculptural lines. Crafted in Scandinavia, the set showcases the refined elegance and the minimalism associated with MCM furniture. The credenza features 6 smoothly integrated drawers that flow seamlessly into its sleek silhouette and two large swing door storage cabinets that flank the two center bank of drawers. The unattached hutch sits firmly on the top of the credenza and has two pairs of swing doors that each open to an unobstructed space for storage that comprise one half of the length of the unit on each side. There is a flared 1 " break away front to both pieces adding an attractive touch. Black lacquered trim surrounds the top and bottom trim of both sections.
The bold rosewood tones and glossy finish highlight the beauty of the wood veneer, while the black high glossed recessed base adds a grounded contrast. It is an ideal statement piece for dining rooms, offices, or living areas seeking both storage and sophistication. It’s a timeless fit for mid-century modern, minimalist, or Danish modern interiors and pairs beautifully with both neutral and bold palettes. A stunning example of Danish Modern design. from the 1960s that remains as modern today as it was 60 years ago.

There is some graying to the color of the veneer on the horizontal surface of the credenza. Fortunately it has faded evenly so as to appear as intended. see photos. less
