An oval Italian rich dark brown leather jewelry box with gold embossed design, circa mid-20th century, 1940s - 1950s, Italy. Box, with its oval shape, has a dark brown leather exterior, hand-applied gold tooling/embossing (on top and sides), finished/lined inside in a beautiful rich dark brown silk moiré grosgrain (very clean inside, great condition.) A great piece to hold small items on a vanity, nightstand table, etc. Shown holding jewelry (jewelry available separately.) Piece is marked on underside, 'Made In Italy', as shown in last image.
